Special Offer Ends: Founder Hunters
Added 2020-06-06 02:09:36 +0000 UTCThe special offer ended on 31 May and I have to admit it was a lot of fun. I managed to fill five of the available six slots for the Founder Hunters which is not too shabby for my first special offer :)
Two founders are already in the game and have their own statue, engraved plaque and back story. You can see them in Patreon Release 0.29.3 or just look above :)
I'll be working with the remaining three founders over the next little while to craft a legendary back story that fits with the lore for the next release.
Alias is currently working unique poses and weapons for each founder.
The statues will eventually be moved inside the Great Hall once we complete the 3D art for inside and outside the school.
In the meantime they adorn the steps at the school's entrance.
I am conflicted about what to do with the unsold slot though. Having exactly six founders is a key part of the lore.
I could try one of the following:
- Gift it to the patron with the highest lifetime pledge so far (Worthy Cause)
- Gift it to a YouTuber for promotion (Selfish Cause)
- Add the sixth founder as a broken statue and a forgotten past. (Oooh the mystery)
If you have a suggestion about what I should do with the sixth founder slot please leave me a comment or DM me.
I think I'd like to do more special offers like this in future. There will be plenty of special locations, fountains, statues, paintings, etc. that could bare your name or benefit from your input.
Next time I'll be better prepared how to promote the special offer it how to better support to the patrons who participate.

In addition the only other option would be to make that final foundation hunter slot available to the first person to take it while leaving the statue broken until someone else takes it then make it a quest to find who it might be by hunting the exact right combination of target monster girls in the right order or some such ... just a thought.

2020-06-06 07:46:02 +0000 UTCIn order of preference as a not active supporter... 1) broken statue (the mystery could become part of the game and a need to solve it would make a great story). 2) worthy cause showing that you value support. 3) selfish cause - a one time promotion irks me because it thumbs your nose at any late comers who then don't get a chance but have to see the offer as long as the video is being replayed.
