Every month on average approximately 6000 people play Monster Girl Tailes. Of the 6000 people, 78 are paying patrons (I love you), approx 1000 are playing the free Public Release and the rest are pirates.
What Is A Pirate?
This is either somebody who downloads the game from a pirate website or someone who pledges just long enough to download the latest build before cancelling their pledge.
Am I Mad?
No. It's hard not to be flattered really. Obviously I am on the right track because only things of value are worth stealing :)
So What's The Problem?
There will always be pirates. I know this, but think about it like this. If 4922 pirates gave me $1 we could fund the entire project in just one month.
All I ask is, the next time you download the game, ask yourself "is this worth $1"?
If it's worth your time then it's worth becoming a $1 patron for one month.
