Added 2022-01-06 09:36:15 +0000 UTCWell, working from home poses a whole set of different challenges. Some good, some not so good. But technically it's entirely possible.
I personally think it should be the norm for all administrative jobs rather than just a temporary safety solution to a pandemic. Less traffic, traffic jams, fumes and fuel.
However, tell everybody in the house when you have online meetings because it can go wrong. Similar to when you swipe unknowingly to the wilder versions of this, perhaps. π
Be careful swiping! It gets wilder in a hurry.

2022-01-06 11:39:20 +0000 UTCI completely agree. Before the pandemic I drove around 25 miles each way to/from work through heavy city traffic. 30 minutes minimum each way, often close to an hour. Throw in some snow and it could take hours. (it once took me 4 hours to get there in a snow/ice storm, close to 2 hours to get home..) Not to mention how much money spent on the gas and car repairs. Now I can get up 20 minutes before I have to start if I want, and I could probably go pantsless if I really wanted. I've never had the above situation happen to me, though. haha
