MVP and Lashley open Raw

MVP says without question, Goldberg is a GOAT, an icon, capable of annihilating any man any night of the week, but he didn’t challenge some chump, he challenged Lashley. GOldberg is a Gladiator, used to crushing any gladiator before him, but Lashley is a KAIJU, an unstoppable larger than life monster, so I’m out here to stop a tragedy from happening. They pipe in Goldberg chants, cuz looking around, I barely see anyone chanting it. MVP says Goldberg, do you wanna be remembered as a casualty?

Goldberg comes out, he hugs his oddly advanced-aged son, gets on the mic, says Lashley looks scared when he clearly doesn’t, the crowd chants WE WANT WYATT before they’re suppressed. GOldberg leaves, MVP and Lashley give his son static, GOldberg spears MVP.

Drew McIntyre vs. Veer/Shanky

They pipe in cheers and YOU CAN FUCKING HEAR COLE ON THE TRACK SAYING 16-TIME CHAMPION???

First CM Punk chant

Drew kips up and crotch chops Shanky

He loads up a Claymore on Veer, Shanky holds his leg, Jinder gets in and attacks Drew with a chair, DQ

T&M come out stronger to start, Ali and Mansoor get ont he same page with stereo suicide dives on opposite ends

ALI KILLS TB with a tornado DDT

Mansoor tries to get up Ali for a top rope move, TB kicks him into the ropes so Ali falls, Mansoor eats a discus boot from TB for the win

After the match, Ali eats M&TB’s finish, after pushing Mansoor out of harm’s way

Backstage, Nikki runs back and forth and they put some awful sfx on it

Charlotte comes out dressed like she’s in the 2040’s

Char says she read about Simone Biles bowed out of the Olympics, says she empathized with her, she gets BECKY chants, says she’s not here, I’m the one who sold out the Allstate Arena, then she says Nikki stole her Raw Women’s Title. She says when she woke up the next morning, she thought she was gonna have her own nervous breakdown. Cuz she is an 11-time woman’s champ, the most decorated woman in this business. She says cashing in the MITB is the most cowardly way to win a title in this business. She starts pulling out kendo sticks, chairs, stuff, says she’s been cashed in on three times, like cashing in on her is the only way to make a name for herself. SO last week I asked for a one on one match to show her superiority, then she had the audacity to request a rematch, so she punched her, and you people love a martyr, so tonight NIkki is gonna sacrifice herself, then Nikki sneaks up and hits Char with a chair to the back.

Interview with Eva, she runs down the Lilly-Lution, puts over Eva-Lution, says she pulled Piper from obscurity, she says Tamina is gonna pay for stepping in front of the Eva Lution.

Tamina has DD in place for a splash, Eva distracts on the apron, DD gets up, rams Tamina’s head into the post, takes over, hits a senton for 2

DD is about to hit funsplash, Eva yells at her to hit her finish, that hesitation causes Tamina to evade, Tamina hits an impressive Samoan Drop for 3

Backstage, Priest and Riddle chat it up

Priest asks Riddle if he’s scared of Omos, Riddle says I’ve got the power of Randy in my corner, I have a bunch of voices in my head, then asks Priest wouldn’t he rather be in a hot tub instead of doing Miz TV, Priest says he’s not concerned

Not sure how it got contentious, but Miz threatens to slap Priest, Priest calls him on it, Miz does nothing, MOrrison gets up, says are you thirsty amigo? I can fix that! He says kids everywhere grow up hoping to be half as cool as Miz and Morrison. Priest says no one wants to be Johnny Sidekick. PRiest gets pissed, throws Morrison out, comes after Miz with the drip stick and his water bucket

Priest vs. Morrison

Priest has the upper hand, Miz sprays him with drip stick, but in the end, Priest hits south of heaven for 3. Good stuff.

After the match, Sheamus attacks Priest, Ricochet makes the save, which leads to

Priest/Riddle vs. Sheamus/Morrison

Ricochet hits a killer moonsault on Sheamus from the ringpost to the floor, Priest hits Reckoning on Morrison

Backstage, MVP is still selling spear while Lashley fumes

Lashley interview, he says he hopes GOldberg brings his son to summerslam so he can watch me beat his pops

Omos vs Riddle

Riddle starts out with running strikes, til Omos sends Riddle over the top rope, throws him over the barricade into the ringkeeper area

Riddle breaks the ten count, then again, Omos hits his finish for 3

Doudrop attacks Alexa backstage on the playground, Eva picks up Lilly, talks shit, leaves

Char drags Nikki into the ring, who’s dead weight, puts a foot on her and poses, Nikki kicks out

Char tries to spear Nikki, moves so Char goes through the table

NIkki hits draping swinging neckbreaker for 3 and the win

Why wasn’t this a PPV match, it was REALLY good
