This week, statistically speaking, your road to mania could end at EC- Miz won’t let Drew get a word in. He just keeps talking. Drew finally yells at Miz SHUT THE HELL UP. He warns him not to interrupt him again. Miz interrupts, eats a Glasgow Kiss. Then he launches the briefcase. At least they kept it short. Miz gets back on when Drew leaves, he keeps talking about EC. He says he’s a master strategist. Morrison is noticeably absent. Hopefully they took him away so he could be with Taya. Miz claims he’s in control a la Bischoff. Miz says he’s removing himself from the EC match.

Riddle and LHP talk something about Presidents at gorilla position.

Riddle/LHP vs. Hurt Business

MVP hits the ballin elbow on riddle, pin broken up by LHP for some reason, that should be a kick out at 1

Riddle hits MVP with a running knee and floating bro to get 3 for the win

Decent match but man it feels like we’ve seen this tons.

Miz and Pearce Backstage

Miz thanks Pearce for the opportunity to be in EC, he suggests a young up and comer to be in EC: John Morrison. Pearce says he’ll take it in consideration.

Mandy Rose chats up Bad Bunny backstage, she leaves Damien comes up- interview with Sarah, they’re both happy to be there, Bad Bunny is gonna be on SNL, meanwhile right next to them, Tozawa beats Truth for the 24/7 title, he runs into Priest, who slams Tozawa into a case, allowing BB to get the pin and win the title

Kofi and Xavier appeal to Pearce about getting Kofi in the EC, miz interrupts, they yell at each other- Pearce says Miz vs. Kofi, if Miz wins, Morrison is in, if Kofi wins, Kofi is in.

Charlotte and Asuka come out, Lacey and Peyton with Ric come down, Lacey promo: she thanks charlotte for getting her the opportunity at Asuka, so her and Pey pey brought her some v-day candy, oh I didn’t get anything for Asuka, but come sunday you’re gonna give me that title

Charlotte/Asuka vs Lacey Evans/Peyton

Peyton is in the whole match, eventually gets a tag into Lacey, then she steps out and gets on the mic and says you can’t put your hands on me, I’m pregnant.

Sheamus interview about the gauntlet match tonight. He said he shouldn’t have to do this, Drew accepted his challenge and that’s a verbal agreement.

MIZ vs Kofi

This is a REALLY good match. High stakes, both guys giving it a lot.

Braun wants to talk to Pearce about not being in the EC. Pearce says the idea was former WWE champions in the EC. Braun says to tell Pearce to tell Shane to make this right. Otherwise it’s not gonna be pretty around here.

AJ Styles begins the gauntlet. Promo first: Is Kofi trying to recreate Kofimania? Somehow he fought his way into the Chamber on the road to mania. It’s almost like its his destiny, except it isn’t cuz I’m gonna destroy his dreams. AJ says him and Omos are like Ritz and M&M’s?

AJ vs. Kofi starts the gauntlet

OUCH AJ falls to the outside and bangs his head pretty bad- Kofi jumps on him, Xavier starts tromboning at him, Omos grabs Xaiver and dumps him behind the barricade. Not gonna lie, it was kinda deserved. Ref kicks Omos out. While the ref is distracted, AJ chop blocks Kofi.

After putting up a good fight AJ pins Kofi after a PF for 3
