Booboo, my babyluv has moved on. 😢
Added 2017-03-21 20:47:29 +0000 UTCThis morning we took Booboo to the vet to get a shot for his arthritis. I had no idea things would go the way they did. After doing X-rays, they found that he had rather severe bone cancer which had caused his bones to become very soft. He also had a fracture on his knee along with tons of swelling. The vet said that his pain meds should have had him able to walk on his hind left leg by now, so the fact that he couldn't put any weight on it was a big red flag. Once the vet explained how much pain he was in, I knew it was time to let him be pain free and move on to a better place. JD came and met me there, along with our friend who has been dog sitting him and we all agreed this was best for him because no one deserves to suffer like that.
My heart hurts so bad. He just had his 14th birthday last week. As I'm typing this the tears are making it hard to see my phone. 😞 I wanted to let you all know first because you're all there for me first. I'm sure I'll delve more into this at another time, bit for now, this is all I can manage.
Needless to say, I had to cancel everything today, so I won't be shooting. I will reserve the place again in April and do the shoot then. Today is Booboo's day. My little fluffy, happy, old man will be greatly missed by all of us.
Hold your little fur babies close and give them all extra kisses for me today. ❤️
