Liquid Meal!

I think a few of you have heard us mention Soylent by now, but I wanted to tell you about how amazing it is. Soylent is a full meal replacement, not just a protein shake or a sugar-laden excuse for nutrition. While I find it relatively high in carbs for my personal liking for a meal (37 grams, which actually isn't bad at all), I find it to be perfect to have half of one prior to cardio or a whole one prior to intense strength training. I'm sure you're curious about the most important part - flavor. It tastes like Cheerios milk. No lie. Like you just ate a bowl of unsweetened Cheerios and now you get to drink the milk. Generally speaking, I like sweet things, but I find this subdued flavor incredibly refreshing. We got the bright idea to try using it as milk in cereal (seems perfect considering it tastes like cereal milk already), but I can tell you from experience it's kinda weird. Lol. 

As much as this sounds like I'm sponsored by them, I am not. Yet. lol. I truly am happy that JD discovered this goodness and we can have a more convenient quick option for when we're on the go. I want to share every helpful trick and tip I can with you all, so I'll be posting more stuff like this between photo sets and other content. 

Oh and one more thing, I actually like it at room temp too. :D

I think it's totally worth trying especially since it also has a good amount of fat and protein so there's so sugar crash afterwards

I have also been looking into it. I have been diabetic for 33 years now and am going to ask my doctor about it too. I am not always hungry, but need something good with carbs in it that tastes good since I am on an insulin pump. :) I would love to try it though.
