For those of you who were in the chat, this is the website for Village of Life. It is an organization dedicated to helping single parents with housing while also mentoring them in how to progress in their lives and careers. We have been discussing this for a while, as being on the board of directors is not something JD and I take lightly. I wanted to make sure we would be able to devote a proper amount of time and energy to this cause and not feel overcommitted. As most of you know, I am a huge advocate for equality between genders and this is partially why I so strongly believe in Village of Life. They are there to help single parents, not just single moms. While it is much more common for a mom to the single parent, it does happen to men as well.

I will be sure to keep you all updated on this as things progress and we begin to plan more events. :)
