I thought I’d get everyone talking with each other as I’d LOVE to know all about you guys, who you are, what you do, and what yours thoughts are on everything and anything.
So to start off here’s a bit about me, for those who didn’t know my name is Andrew Scott-Marshall and I started off life as an artist in the games industry, then an art director, then a concept artist for film, then a VFX artist for film, and then a commercial director (have directed about 30 music videos and over 60 TV commercials easy). Inbetween all of that I did a lot of freelance work in animation of which I was very good at and the money was good but it’s too time consuming as a role so only dipped in and out.
I randomly met a stunt coordinator one day when I was directing a TV commercial (Nick Gillard, Google him, he was the guy who wrote and taught Ewan McGregor, Ray Park, Liam Neeson, and Aiden Christenson long fight/sabre sequences on the StarWars prequels) and we got chatting. I was getting tired with being in front of screens and and behind cameras and he introduced me to the world of stunts. I trained VERY fucking hard and worked as a professional stuntman for about 11 years, maybe a bit more on and off. Marvel, StarWars, Vikings, Kingsman, GOT, I did them all. It was very cool in parts and me and my dogs travelled the world doing it and made a lot of money which I turned into bricks and mortar. But as life goes on all I wanted to do was spend time with my dogs in nature and not do anything else, other than paint and write.
And so that’s what I did. I completely quit life and the world and amongst painting all day, writing all day, tinkering with motorbikes, and being a hippy in nature…I sometimes make myself laugh for a couple of hours by making puppets of dickheads on YouTube and making them cry. It IS lots of fun isn’t it? And it’s because of all of you total Ninjas who support the channel and make it exist, of which I’m very appreciative of…and surprised at! I’m glad you love it! 🙏

Funnily enough, both my parents hail from NY state (my father from Queens, my mother from upstate) so I hardly befit people's stereotypes. When I went to college in DC, people thought I was from Wisconsin.

You see my name there, my usual nom de plume is Seanakin, I'm a long-time resident of the State of Wyoming (with a side stint in Portland back in the Naughts) and I work as a pharmacy technician. I'm hardly a creative type, hell, my father has more movie credits than I do, and he did a bunch of key grip assignments back in the 70s for extra money during his summers off from teaching. (Movies like Mountain Family Robinson, Any Which Way You Can, as well as Starship Troopers in the mid-90s.) Still, I am fascinated by creative types like you and EVS and as such I enjoy youse guys' work!

I like and support some of the CG creators, and am impressed with the skill involved. I loved the Muppet Show growing up, and enjoy the content you produce. Keep up the great work! Best tactic is keep hitting them with a constant and never ending load of 7s and 8s rather than hit them with a big 10 that would motivate them to go the extra mile to get you back.
