Early Access: MattyyyM - "Running in the Rain" (Original Song)
Added 2019-06-25 18:23:42 +0000 UTCThis is the first time that i've attempted humming a melody into my phone, and turning it into a song. I was watching Eromanga Sensei (don't judge me), and the fact that there's a heavy involvement of creative writing/drawing in that show inspired me to create something of my own. After watching one of the later episodes, I improv hummed the lead melody that's in the intro/chorus' and progressed to fine tuning it and adding backing chords to it.
I think that this is a really fun way to write a song, but it makes me think how many other random melodies i've hummed to myself, not recorded, and then forgotten. I'll try to take note of them from now on!
What do you guys think to this one? I think it fits into the same kind of mould as Serenity and Memory Of, so i'll write one more and then release them as a 4 song EP on Spotify etc.
