December Assemblies!

Hello, dear students!
A quick note before jumping into knit night info: The next KAL post is on its way! Thank you for your patience over the last week with it. Keep an eye out on Thursday or Friday!
Our knit night via Zoom, or monthly Assembly as they're called around these parts, is simply a virtual place to gather and chat about what we are working on, show and tell WIPs and FOs, and recent vintage / knitting acquisitions! They're casual and fun, but of course attendance is optional. While these hang outs are not recorded, the written chat will be saved from each meeting and will be placed in the monthly assembly post (like this one!) within 24 hours after the meet up.
We have students from all over the world, which is incredible! It also means juggling a handful of time zones. Because of this, I host two assemblies in hopes that we can accommodate as many time zones as possible. The two assemblies will take place on the same day, but at different times depending on your zone. Along with the date and my time zone, I've included some of the common patron time zones below:
Assembly one:
Thursday, December 30th from 1:00pm - 3:00pm EDT
Los Angeles, CA: 10:00am - 12:00pm
São Paulo, BR: 3:00pm - 5:00pm
London, UK: 6:00pm - 8:00pm
Stockholm, SE: 7:00pm - 9:00pm
Sydney, AU: 4:00am - 6:00am (Fri. Dec 31st)
Auckland, NZ: 6:00am - 8:00am (Fri. Dec 31st)
Tokyo, JP: 2:00am - 4:00am (Fri. Dec 31st)
Assembly two:
Thursday, December 30th from 8:00pm - 10:00pm EDT
Los Angeles, CA: 5:00pm - 7:00pm
São Paulo, BR: 10:00pm - 12:00am
London, UK: 1:00am - 3:00am (Fri. Dec 31st)
Stockholm, SE: 2:00am - 4:00am (Fri. Dec 31st)
Sydney, AU: 11:00am - 1:00pm (Fri. Dec 31st)
Auckland, NZ: 1:00pm - 3:00pm (Fri. Dec 31st)
Tokyo, JP: 9:00am - 11:00pm (Fri. Dec 31st)
Please note that this is not the optimal place to seek extensive help with a project. I am more than happy to help and answer questions you have via message or comment, but the assemblies are intended for us to chit-chat and "oooh" and "ahhh" at each others successes!
I will put out zoom links on the day-of for everyone. I hope to see you there!
xoxo

Goodness no, you're certainly not making my life difficult! All the to-do items ended up falling on one crazy day. I am so new to working from home / working for myself / running my own business (still hard to believe that one!), and I still need some practice in figuring out how to organize it all so days like yesterday don't happen! As for annual gifts: they don't necessarily run on the calendar year, but rather on the date of joining. My plan is to send out two batches per year to those who qualify. That was entirely my fault for not clarifying this from the beginning, and I apologize for any confusion it caused. Since I started Squid School at the end of the year, I don't have all the items gathered or made yet. But trust me, it's going to be worth the wait! ;)
2021-12-28 22:03:08 +0000 UTCAwwh, we'll miss you Lucy! I hope you have a good work day :)
2021-12-28 21:56:50 +0000 UTCSydney, are the level three tier getting annual goodies or does that wait to next year? (I know you're sending the level four markers). Also, regarding your Instagram stories, I hope you got a decent sleep after that 17 hour day, or that you will soon! I don't think anyone here wants to make your life difficult in return for content! Xxx
