Onward to 2023

2023, ooof, what a way to start out!

Life suddenly exploded with a boatload of crazy right off the bat.  I thought I'd share with you all.

Something really exciting happening this year for me:  On top of my day-job, I got a job teaching art at my local college!  That's been a huge dream for me, so I pounced on that job like a bad Bunny Cruise idea at 2 in the morning!  

As some of you might know, teaching isn't just standing in front of a bunch of people and yapping for a couple of hours.  Along with it comes with planning classes, prepping course materials, and of course, grading homework (Blegh...), so I expect it's going to take up a lot of my time.

That being said, I LOVE drawing.  I LOVE writing.  I LOVE making stories above anything else, so I'm not going to hit the pause button on Patreon just yet.  I still want to make consistent updates both here and on Twitter and keep my passion projects going.  As such, I took the christmas-new-year break off to do some tests (hence the lack of posts).  I wanted to see how much content I can reasonably produce given my new schedule, so you guys aren't wandering where I've disappeared to.

The near-daily posts from November aren't going to be a thing anymore, unfortunately.  The best I think I can do is twice a week, likely on Tuesdays and Fridays.  Anymore than that, I fear I would be sacrificing quality for quantity.

"But Felis," You say.  "Your drawings are already pretty messy and shit."

To this I say "Shut the fuck up I'm trying"

Lol but seriously, comics, even the curiouscat ones, take a lot of planning and rough layout passes before I even starting sketching out panels, and I want to do the best I can with each post for both you guys and the characters.  They deserve the best I can offer.

So I want to take this moment to thank everyone for your support thus far.  It's mind-boggling whenever I stop to think about it.  I will do my best to keep the Bunny Cruise story going (and hopefully bring 67's arc to its conclusion this year.)
