First pet portrait completed.
Added 2022-02-20 22:49:21 +0000 UTCI think I’m done. I repainted the right eye because it was too high and it didn’t look right. Most dog portraits are done with the animal looking straight on. Pet portrait artists ask for reference photos this way because it is difficult to draw/paint dogs looking off to the side. But I think this is pretty good for only having an Instagram photo as a reference that was just slightly out of focus. And working from the photo on my laptop.
