As part 2 will fail to show I suspect, the anime padded extra games into the arc (skating race, dodgeball, redlight greenlight) including as a result temporary crew loss that wasn't in the manga, if I recall correctly. I'm curious how One Pace handled it.

2023-08-25 20:59:51 +0000 UTCIt's been a year since I read the manga but I'm a fan (the only one probably) of the anime version of Long Ring Long Land. Yes, One Pace seems to have made it manga accurate but you should know what was cut: the anime ver had gags like Luffy initially being tricked into picking 3 games instead of 1. Also the race had multiple teams from each crew all at the same time, only for the other boats, Sanji, Chopper, Luffy, and Zoro to get distracted, sunk, etc. The editing was something else to simply hide all that, wow. I can see why people like One Pace pacing but I also had no concept of filler my first time watching One Piece.
