Class
Added 2018-04-15 14:23:30 +0000 UTCOriginally I was planning to have 12 students in Kate's class, but I've decided to lower this number to 11. Eventually players will be able to choose who gets to sit at the same desk with Kate. That means if you want to change who sits with you, then the NPC who sat with you before the change will have to switch places with an NPC you've chosen to replace them with. And that means we'd have to render all twelve classmates in all twelve seats, which is 144 sprites for each tier of uniform. But if we get rid of one classmate then by default the seat next to Kate will be empty and we'll have to render only 21 sprites (10 students in their default seats + 10 students next to Kate + Kate). I'll show you the classroom with Kate's class next time.
Kate's class will have four guys and seven girls. First three are on the image above. Later into the game we'll add more students from different classes, but we want to focus on Kate's class first.
I'm not going to post their names yet, as those might change.

Now if Kate want to sit with a specific student she switches her place with the neighbor of the wanted student, all other students stay in place. Also in this constellation you only need 12 images to represent each possible student-Kate-relation since all other student-student-relations don't matter.
