With it being the first version, and open to guests, irrelevant of how much people pledge, it wouldn't have hurt to release it to all patrons at the same time with all that has gone on in the last month or so, we have all stayed loyal and people pledge what they can afford, not moaning just stating it works both ways, we could have all downloaded BB hacked and stopped pledging but we don't.

And yhea to understand something too. What about a patch for some hot taboo (like in BB) if we can t make a mod because your game in online ? How it will be possible? Think about that a lot of your community was whit you because this possibility. No problem if some don t need or like a patch for this. But you will stop this possibility whit this DRM

Few days after pirates will crack this acces like the last time for BB. We are here to support you or not that why patreon is. But whit this option DRM you will just punch in the balls patreons who don t like to use this option (why if there is not internet ? If the connexion isnt there ? If the server had problem like DFD...) But again you will see not the first time here.

This is definitely a risky move. I would not recommend having server-side storage of anything, nor do I recommend having limited access for non-patreons / "guests" - what you can do, however, is provide "extra bonus content" for those chosing to log in, and show that they are supporters. Extra outfits, extra scenes, more animations etc. Ie, nothing that will prevent guests from enjoying the game, but you give your supporters a bit more .

Well, probably unsubscribing. DRM for a porn game that requires what amounts to a monthly subscription is not 'patronage'. LOL

What happens if I subscribe one months and pause my subscription the next. Do I loose all subscriber perks until I re subscribe or do I get to keep the subscriber perks that I had until that point. Basically I cant support you as much as I would like but I don't want to feel like I have to have an active subscription to play the game. Also I still don't like of the idea that you need to go online to play.

Hell no, game should be offline and with minimal or no DRM. What you are suggesting is an absolute deal breaker to me.

I think it's a very good idea. I suggested this with BB eight months ago? It would be best if you can save the saved games only on the server. Just what I think is bad that there are cheats.

Piracy is the best advertisement for these kind of games though. Sort of shooting yourself in the foot, but pirates always find a way anyway.

So just a quick question, the website is also going to include the game as well as Patreon I gather from this post but will there be any differences in cost/subscription? And will the site have a payment provider there or is all the transactions going to be done through here??
