Since Glamour is going to have a lot of items, we're working a good, functional inventory. For example, the game has categories for items like: "all items", "food", "gifts" etc. The categories are temporary and we might change them down the line and add new ones. We'll definitely add "quest items".
Once you select an item, you'll see its description and useful information. If it's a cake, then you'll see how it will affect the main character after eating it. If you give it to someone else, then you'll improve your relationships a little bit.
Some effects will be permanent, some temporary. You'll be able to craft a lot of food items yourself. Crafting interface is almost done and I'll show it to you in the near future.
All NPCs will have their preferences (randomly generated when you start a new game, btw), so you'll have to figure out which characters like what. I'll tell you more about it later, NPC's preferences is an important feature of the game.
