This is a comic I am painting a page for every month and I did even two in May, just because I saw the 2nd page in my mind and needed to record it before it would fade.
There’s only a rough storyline here (that I won’t disclose) to have some guidance, but I try to spontaneously go with the flow otherwise. It isn’t yet perfect. I paint quickly to not lose momentum and will clean it up when it’s done. I’m not sure how many pages it will be but I’m aiming for a basic 44. That means it might get a follow up. Or not if I can’t get it printed or if you don't like this sort of thing.

Note; I see that I left some inconsistencies in page 21 (like; shoulder armour of the queen that are absent on her first two frames and appear in the third and also the gun of Barebella has magically disappeared after the twosome are captured. That's what you get when doing a comic spontaneously. No worries, it'll be corrected later. )

Anyway; It’s very loosely based on the ancient movie from the 1960’s called Barbarella (hence the working title Barebella) which was in turn based on another (French) comic that I never read.

It’ll definitely not be a remake.

I don’t know what the story of the movie was. I only remember fragments, and that it was highly erotic for that time and my age, a bit weird too, like the producers were on some serious dope, and of course, I remember the spectacular Jane Fonda as the lead character.

So, I’m trying to get the general feel in it, and work in some of the memories I have of it, when possible. It’s something right up my alley of course. so this is the platform to have you witness the development of this story.
