Added 2021-08-23 19:54:39 +0000 UTCSo ... I'm sitting here in a Subway in the small town of Winter about ten miles from where I've been camping the last week or so. Been doing nothing but working on my projects, hiking, biking, and generally enjoying the quiet.
I am going to put the pedal to the metal to get this book DONE by the end of this week. It's Monday, so that gives me four days. Right now the word count is at ... 87K. Probably will finish out between 105 and 110K, but we'll see. Might be a bit longer depending on a few things I haven't QUITE worked out yet, not to mention any additional chapters I need to add before publishing based on beta feedback.
As you're no doubt aware, this is faster than I usually write, so hopefully the quality doesn't suffer.
Oh, and there's a sex scene (Praise Jaysus ... or, someone.) I think it works well for what I wanted it to accomplish, but I've got one or two more I need to work out the mechanics for. Spider girls are hard.
