Hinata went from being "of no value without Kageyama" to becoming an actual member who they can rely on during the match, for other things than just to spike. Shows so much of this growth! No wonder Suga was so proud of him. Reminds me of episode 2/3 when Suga was the first one to ever teach Hinata, anything about receiving.

2021-06-18 00:55:24 +0000 UTCthe parallel of kags and hinata blocking their own quick against the twins a a huge call back to season one against seijoh when karasuno lost. kags and shoyo learned the hard way that speed is reliable but it isn’t perfect bc they got their quick blocked and it caused them the game and like tsukii said they know first hand since that is what caused them to improve their quick. i swear haikyuu never misses with the call backs and symbolism

2021-06-17 22:07:26 +0000 UTCatsumu saying that hinata is a scary partner is bc his jumps are saying “you’ll definitely get the ball up here won’t you?” Hinata tests and pushes his setter every time he jumps. He is essentially bending the setter to his will .If Kageyama was the king of the court then hinata is the king of the setter. also it’s so funny how almost every setter has always said that hinata would be a scary partner to have bc he constantly is pushing you to do better
