JK & Jimin have a very special bond with each other. This 4D3N trip to Tokyo was fully paid for by JK as a birthday gift for Jimin and they went alone together. No one else was there with them. Jimin didn't know that JK was filming him to make it into his 1st GCF and said if he knew he would have acted differently in front of the camera. Also, JK ever mentioned that he chooses his songs very carefully by checking and understanding the lyrics to convey the message he wants to convey through his videos. So do pay close attention to the lyrics he chose for his GCFs.

ohh you couldn't have picked a more perfect day to upload this reaction, today (aug 3 anyway lol timezones) is the 1000 day anniversary of gcf in tokyo coming out! (if you didn't know 1000 day anniversaries are sort of a big deal in modern day korean culture) thanks for finally reacting to it, you should go chronologically through all of jk's gcfs, as other people said above they all have different styles and jimin is either featured heavily or is at least the scene stealer in most of them so i'm sure you'll enjoy 😉

GCF Tokyo is so iconic for a variety of reasons. It lured me into a huge rabbit hole, where I live today. What you see is Jimin through the eyes of Jungkook. And about 5% view of Tokyo. The beginning of Jungkook's superb talent as a film producer and editor. It's an eye opener. He was so proud of this the day he uploaded it.

So happy to see you reacting to GCF! 💜 JK shows amazing talent behind the camera, he's talked about how he loves video more than photography now, because he can more easily express the exact story he's trying to convey. GCFT feel extra special because its the first GCF, Jimin was not aware he was filming to later upload, he tweeted about how he wouldn't have made such "uncool expressions" if he had known. It was also special because JK booked this all for Jimin's birthday as a surprise. No other members, no crew, no managers, just them having fun. They even took the chance to dress up and wear masks on Halloween there for more anonymity.

If i remember correctly, In 2017 during a fansign, an army asked Jimin about Jungkook’s birthday gift for him and Jimin said he can’t say it because he would be in trouble. The next thing army knew, Jimin and JK were spotted at the airport going to Japan. Some thought it was for work but others were wondering why it was only the two of them. When Jimin uploaded his video edit of their trip together on Twitter and JK uploaded GFC in Tokyo soon after, that’s when things started falling place for curious armys 😂 Then i think in an interview, it was revealed that it was Jungkook who booked the tickets for him and Jimin for this trip.

What makes this specific GCF so precious is that Jimin had absolutely no idea that JK was doing this, it was a total surprise, he probably thought he was just shooting clips for the sake of it and therefore acted very freely and naturally which shows their friendship in such a pure light. This was also his first GCF ever so everything about it feels even more raw and personal as he was still learning, Namjoon actually said he saw JK stay up at night in his studio learning how to edit for this video's very purpose

What did you think about the clothes Jimin was wearing they were sooooo sharp, it was like wwwwwoooo!!! I loved his outfit with that hat...drop dead gorgeous!! And your right, JK really does have a great eye and obviously he is in love with Jimin like the rest of us. I thought the song he choice to use was interesting, especially light of the lyrics.
