He was devastated but continued their schedule without saying anything to their fans. He first told Army about it at a fanmeeting in november 2016.

2020-05-04 17:33:56 +0000 UTCI was at both nights of their Speak Yourself Chicago concert. (And blessed to go to the 2018 Love Yourself concert as well.) It was very cold both nights, but we also had freezing rain and sleet on the 2nd night. Jungkook couldn't fly because of the rain, but they performed everything else just well if not better. It's really touching how emotional they get when saying good bye. JK as per usualv (not every time but close) cried. They did have a lot of fun, I.e. the bouncy slide, and shared it with ARMY, while putting on a show that was...beyond phenominal. I was on a natural high for over a week. I'm so happy that you'll be able to go to a concert. I don't need to say have fun, it's impossible not to.💜

I just have never heard someone say not to call him pink princess but if he did say that then of course I wouldn’t use it..but bc I’ve never seen anyone say not to I just won’t for now

But he did say not to call him Mom..And i didnt call him mom i just said that pink princess was what his old nickname was and as i said, he never said he didnt like it

There are some guys that give themselves that nickname or use it. Like princess and girl are different. It's not literally misgendering, idk it's a different thing and i always find it weird how people think someone calling a guy a princess is misgendering. Sort of like the boys joke Jimin is a fairy and even Jimin calls himself a fairy. No one takes offense to that or claims it's calling him a girl; cause its not. It's a bit different. I haven't actually seen any 'proof' of him hating the name, only him joking to a fan by calling her prince when she called him princess, but he didnt seem angry, it was more like banter. But regardless, i dont think the fandom has called him that since like 2017 anyways. It was an old nickname, kiki may be a new army so let's not attack her and simply just explain that he doesnt get called that anymore. Plus i havent seen him at all say he hates being called mom. Just that the fans dont like it since before, it was like that was his only role in the group and we prefer to not say it cause he's more than that and it brings up bad mistreatment of Jin. There are many groups where members give themselves the 'mom' role and establish themselves as the moms of the group, but of course not everyone would like it. I still havent seen him say that he doesn't though. So to say he doesnt like it isn't true, just explain the history of it and how the fandom feels.
