When it comes to camerawork, I always felt that MMA was much better than MAMA. Though I must say it gets super annoying when they show only wide shots of the stage and audience during key parts of the choreo, or sometimes don't show the member singing a certain verse. There are 7 of them, it would be nice if the cameras actually gave them all a chance to be seen during their part.

Unfortunately, awards show camera work is always lacking in my opinion. From what I understand, Hobi had to lead Jimin to his spot on stage as he already had his blindfold on for the performance. I'm not sure how he was able to jump and spin and land precisely facing the crowd but he did it perfectly. You should watch the artist of the year award they won later that night. And since you like live performances, I really recommend this series of videos from their concert in 2015 at the Red Bullet. At the time they didn't have as much budget as they do now but we can see that they are still putting as much the fire on stage and in addition there are the subtitles .. There are many tracks from their album "Dark & ​​Wild" which is totally Hip Hop .. Yeah you are right, that Blood, Sweat and Tears performance reminds me too of the Interview with the vampire - the clothes, the set and yes that, hmmm well there's no other way to say it, homoerotic moment with Taehyung holding Jin from behind. And of course the overall music (though more of like 1800th century than renaissance) Have you not seen the MV for Fire? Seemed like you weren't really familiar with that song - though I might be mistaken^^

FYI; Jungkook was hurt that day. As they were bringing him down from the wires (from being suspended), he hurt his ankle yet proceeded to perform Blood Sweat & Tears and Fire, "jumping around" as if nothing happened. Knowing this info just makes the performance even better. Also, if you like a good laugh, I suggest watching BTS misheard lyrics videos. They are hilarious!

From what I hear, MAMA has notoriously bad camera work. So, yes, they do have to work on their camera angles - you called that one.

Also, FYI, Mnet Asian Music Awards are MAMA. Too much of a mouthful, lol. Save yourself time and say MAMA 2016, 2017...you already saw 2018 and 2019.

Look at their fake love performance again. Jimin actually fell and hurt his ankle pretty badly and Hobi ended up having to help him off stage. But he went right into formation, continued the performance to the end and didn't let on that he was hurt. Just like RM did in Burn the Stage 6. These guys are incredible. There was another performance where one of the MCs fell off the floor lift opening and fell on top of Kookie and hurt his shoulder. Kookie got on stage and performed like a pro. He couldn't even raise his arm, but did his thing so well that no one noticed. We only know about this because a while after the performance the MC was asked what he thought about BTS and he said Kookie saved his life and explained the incident. While a trainee, Suga got hit by a car and hurt his shoulder and still practiced and did what he had to do in silence because he didn't want to risk getting kicked off the group. They ALL have stories like this. What they put themselves through for us, MAN!!! It's why we're so freakin' loyal and protective of them.

Have you reacted to Fire yet DT? It looks like you are listening to FIRE for the first time? You should look at the MV as well as the dance practice cos FIRE is the song that has one of the most difficult choreography. How do they keep up with it? That is the ultimate mystery.. Whenever we see them perform, ARMY will for certain amazed at their stamina and energy that could last so long! They are known for complicated choreography in their songs.. the fact that they can keep the energy level up for every song is always impressive.

Believe it or not, they were not the last one to performed at that awards. Not until the recent ones (2019). Even they were already globally famous, Back in 2018 it was EXO group who performed last at a awards show. And, up to this day (2020) - some Korean huge companies still resisting BTS popularity. BTS still getting lots of hates. As RM speech - They were embarrassed of their group name "BTS", but now they are accepting it and got used to it. "They were only seven. But they have all the Armys now" - We are Bulletproof: Eternal.

I became a fan because of their dance practice video as I love dancing! their "FIRE" dance practice made me into one.
