What is Silver Trading?

Silver Trading is the idea of trading around expensive Silver Player Cards. Silver cards usually have a bit less supply and still get required in different SBCs such as Advanced SBCs at the beginning. 

That allows us to make a profit from the fluctuation of these Silver Cards. 

Bids

The best possible way to get your hands on Silver cards is through bidding. Sometimes you can win cards for half the price and double your coins on each sale. Worst case you are making around 10% profit per card. 

Ideally, there are some filters to use like Bundesliga – CB – Silver and you can just spam it throughout the day. 

This method also allows you to trade during your breaks or whenever you have a free minute. As an example, I used to bid on 50 Silver cards while waiting for my train and then sell these later at home for a quick coin double. 

Alternatively, sniping is also very strong. However, the profits are stronger on sniping Gold Cards and that’s why we don’t cover it here. Bidding is the preferred way for Silver Trading. 

Silver League

This is a game mode that requires a team of Silver cards every Wednesday or every second Wednesday. We saw multiple Meta Silver Cards spike due to these releases. 

The basic idea is to look for useful Silver Cards, most commonly from the Premier League but also other Top 5 Leagues. Fast CBs, fast STs, and good CMs are usually very expensive. 

It was very common to buy these Silver cards on Thursday-Monday and sell them on Tuesday-Wednesday with the release or with the hype of the release. The main supply times are Marquee Matchups and Squad Battle Rewards as both offer more Silver packs and supply the market with more Silver Cards than usual. That allows a nice buying window. 

League SBCs

Similar to the BPM Method, Silver cards are needed for League SBCs too. It's very common to see an increase in Silver Cards from Top Leagues. 

Preparing could be smart if you find Silver Cards from popular Leagues for 150-200 coins. This is classified as an investment and that’s why the hold time is a bit longer and the profits are unknown. 

The alternative would be waiting for the release and then using the changed market prices to start trading around Silver cards. This includes fluctuations between Thursday and Monday based on the same idea as the Silver League. Marquee Matchups and Squad Battles supply the market with more Silver cards and that creates a low.
