Webapp Guide – Basic Start

Release Date

It's not confirmed yet but we expect the Webapp to start around the 22nd September. It was always on a Wednesday and usually 1-2 days before the EA Play Access, however, this year EA Play is already on a Wednesday. That’s why we expect the Webapp to get released on the same date.

First Steps

Whenever the Webapp starts, the first thing you do is picking a starter nation. There isn't a big difference between the nations, but it's smart to pick a nation without a league to get as many useful cards as possible for the future Advanced SBCs.

Recommended Nations are Brazil and Argentina. Portugal or France are also solid picks, Portugal and France usually have many cards from the Top 5 Leagues and if you are lucky you could also get a few useful cards for the tough Advanced SBCs.

Then you can open your Welcome Packs. These usually give the first few players and some coins. You also get some Loyalty Packs if you had FIFA 21 and still use the same Email.

After that, you already start doing the first Basic SBCs until you unlock the Advanced SBCs. These Basic SBCs don’t give any big rewards but they also don’t ask for much.

Benefits of doing the Advanced SBCs

This is a bit controversial but, in my opinion, doing the Advanced SBCs on the first day is the right move. It's maybe not the best move as it depends a bit on your luck, but the overall results should be positive and help you at the start of the game!

As far as I remember the Advanced SBC cards are the cheapest during Webapp day. Nobody has Futbin and nobody knows the prices, that’s why these SBCs are cheaper before everyone can figure out how to do them. The next time these get that low again takes almost a week.

That allows you to have more coins than other people, you have done the Advanced SBCs for cheaper and you can focus on trading. On top of that, you could end up being lucky and pack some decent which you can keep in your club and sell later when the card prices increase.

What to keep, what to sell?

This is a very common question and we will have lists covering what to keep and what to sell closer to the game release. We need a few more information about FUT before we can really tell you, but to make a short section here:

Player Cards – Keep them until you finish the Advanced SBCs because packed cards have loyalty which helps A LOT for these SBCs. If you need coins you can sell (or discard if needed) the Cards you don't need.

Consumables – Some Consumables are selling for 1-2k even on the Webapp like RB to RWB if you don’t need them then sell them.

Club Customisations – You can sell them, more details about these later.

Alternative Start

As always, there’s not a single right way to go, there are 3-4 different ideas for the Webapp. I will show you a few different ways how to start the Webapp, they aren’t better but also not worse, it is just different and how you can manage the market.

1st Alternative Start: You open your packs -> sell everything except meta cards -> skip all SBCs -> already start trading (covered in the next Guides) – The idea is to have as many coins as possible and to skip every SBCs. This is a very popular way if you have a good start into FIFA and pack something like 1-2 TOTW Cards which you can sell for some good coins. You have a bigger starting budget and you can straight invest into cards and wait for the big rise or keep grinding until you have some good coins.

2nd Alternative Start: You open your packs -> you keep everything -> you skip the SBCs -> you trade with the coin rewards you get – Almost like the 1st Alternative Start. Both these skip the SBC part and straight jump into trading to slowly build more coins.

3rd Alternative Start: You open your pack -> you sell everything as fast as possible -> you skip the SBCs -> you invest in Non-Rare Cards or Meta Cards – This is recommended for people who don’t have much time to trade. The idea is to buy similar cards as you would do the Advanced SBCs or even Meta Cards and wait for the price increases in the next few days.

Summary

- Pick Brazil, Argentina, Portugal, or France

- Open your packs
