I watched the market for the past 3 days almost 12h daily and I feel a bit dead… but I got some stuff to tell you!

Market Situation

We are in the panic right now! I notice that from so many different key areas, you can literally watch the people going from squad to fodder to squad to fodder. 

Just have a look on the most obvious fodder cards (like Felipe) and you will notice price jumps of +10% and then randomly people clearing PAGES of a card. 

On the other hand, you can notice crazy undercuts on many different past special cards. Just to name a few, I made bank on Bissaka and Trippier. Traded these the most the past days and it was easy coin farming.  

Overall, I think we rely a bit on the bigger content creator. Once someone tells you to sell, it will lead into a bigger panic before TOTY and a rebound once people notice the mistake. If we don’t get anyone telling that, we could see some drops with the promo and the massive Lightning Rounds (people love to sell the squad to open packs, who knows why)

Price Range Updates

That was something I was totally expecting for yesterday but it happened today. We usually get a new PR update at the beginning of the month with a short overview what we can expect. 

I went through it and they lowered many Icon prices, mainly primes because these were probably a bit too rare the first month and got lower now. But a few Top Tier Icons got upgraded even above 15m, which is crazy. 

One thing I spotted, they updated all gold fodder lower except Mahrez and Cancelo, these got higher. I have no clue why and for what but its interesting to see. 

I think we can expect the Mid Icon Pack near the mid/end of Jan. 

Selling and Buying

Just a few words. Expect to lose coins every time. There is sadly no perfect buy time for cards. 

Imo, you have a few good windows to buy some cards.

1st – This weekend. I would focus for cards between the 100-300k area and mainly special cards. I think these can rebound going into the next week again. 

2nd – During TOTY. I think that’s a good time to buy a few more expensive cards like Gullit etc. Sadly it depends a bit on the prices of the TOTYs, if these are cheap, they can drop loads. If these are expensive, I think people will stick to the Icons. 

3rd – After TOTY. The buy times are a bit spread around TOTY, that’s why we don’t see a market boom, but we could face a bigger sell off after TOTY. That happened every time so far, people buy a squad but cant keep it for long and sell it the next week again -> leading into cheaper prices.

Some cards work different but that’s the overall guidance with buying a squad. 

The selling point is a bit tougher. I don’t like to make the call to sell now because prices are really low. Having a squad is always a bit downside if you want to focus on trading :/ 

How to trade on this market?

As said in the market part above, look for big undercuts! Here a few things you should 100% keep an eye on.

- Be on the market and use Futbin just as a tool. Especially on :XB:, there are many people listing cards for like 5-10% lower than they are selling for and you can flip them very easily! Many other trader don’t recommend flipping on the current market but its easier with that many undercuts. Finding a buyer is tougher but you can always aim for a good deal and undercut the others by 1k and still sell! 

-  Bids Lol, that’s it. Bids are so easier right now. I only managed to win 4/10 bids but its 100% easier as less people care about it. 

- Waiting for the undercut. I saw so many people listing a card for like 99k which usually sells for 100k. I add these to my watchlist and if they don’t sell after 1h, its very likely to relist at like 92k. That happened A LOT the last days…

I will also upload some more low budget things the next days, I saw some asking for it and I can bring them. It will be a mix between some non-rare flipping and League SBC sniping. 

That’s it so far, I’m seriously a bit dead, watching the market made me feel so sick the last 2 days, its just taking all your energy and I can’t deal with the stupidity of some fifa player anymore. I get a quick nap and will be back before 6pm. I don’t expect much content for today.
