Jody the dragon Rhaeynyra and that chick were speaking about was her 'dead' gay husband's dragon, Corly's son who's death they faked so he could run away and Rhaenyra could marry Daemon. Harrenhal being taken was for strategic value. Only Cole and Aemond knew how valuable as military strategists it would be and so did Daemon which is he went for it straight away
