Nure-Onna
Added 2024-07-12 18:26:02 +0000 UTCThe last page... and finally you see it. The tall form, the horns and the body snaking across the page. The name reads Nure-Onna, taking from a forgotten language. This half snake creature while similar to a yuan-ti has no relation to their kind.
It is a ghost, a spirit that haunts the material plane. In the guise of a beautiful woman, it enchants its victims. Unlike many, it doesn't kill them outright straight away. Instead, removing their soul which she stores inside her clutch of eggs kept safe.
Gestation is usual around 2โ3 weeks. Smashing the eggs allows the soul to be unbound, so normal resurrection spells will work. Alternatively, finding and destroying the egg close to the original victim may allow the soul to return.
You sigh... of course it was a woman. When will that idiot learn. First it was a succubus in a tavern and now this.

2024-07-13 10:24:19 +0000 UTCOh I like this one - the details are exquisite, although I personally would have liked to see more expression on her face; even small smile or an angry scowl. But that's just my preference. This is still gorgeous something I can't wait to print and get to paint.
