March Pause + Info

Hey All!

This is an important update about the month of March! TLDR at the end. I’m going to ramble on a bit in this next part about where I am currently. Its sort of a big mess of things, so I just wanted to make some space for myself to talk about stuff.

A few weeks ago I hurt my wrist (my dominant hand) and back after coming home from a convention. I had a doctors appt. which ended up with me wearing a brace and taking some anti-inflammatory meds. It’s been over a week and neither pain has gone away unfortunately. I’m going to have to schedule another doctor visit in the coming week. The pain means my wrist gets tired easily and then I have to stop and rest it. This has been affecting my ability to sit and draw for long periods of time.

On top of this my work is in a big shake up management wise (I work in HR) and my desk is swamped with paperwork, on boarding new hires and fielding requests from staff. I’ve been working some overtime the last couple weeks so that hasn’t helped my wrist situation.

Last but not least, my husband and I are looking to buy our first house. We’re at the beginning of this journey but it means things like, packing, tossing old stuff, meetings with our realtor etc. etc. In the event that we get a house in the next couple weeks that means lots of activity and the big task of moving houses!

So, I think what is best at the moment is to pause my Patreon for the month of March so I can heal my wrist and sort out the other big things happening in my life. I would like to avoid pausing two months in a row but I really do not know what the next few weeks will hold.

I just want to say I appreciate all of you being here and supporting my art. Knowing there are other folks out there who enjoy the same stuff I do is so awesome and I want to keep making stuff y’all like!

TLDR: I’m going to pause my Patreon for March and potentially April but I’ll try to avoid two months in a row.
