Dive Bar

"The place feels dirty, like you could reach out into the smokey haze of the air you're inhaling and yank off strands of muck and texture. But it's the good kind of dirty, like well used boots or a reliable jacket. There's a genuine hum surrounding you like the bar itself is purring with life.

Soft light fills your eyes as you squint through the stinging nicotine vapors and swirling dust from the patrons shuffling back and forth between tables, stools and the bar itself. This is a place where everyone knows each other, and if you don't then perhaps you should start making friends very quickly.

An old and loved sound system pumps muffled beats into the mumbling crowd, filling your ears with tunes and melodies you almost remember. As you scan the crowds of people in varying states of inebriation, you silently pray that it's the only soundtrack you hear tonight..."

Hi all!

This dive bar battle map has been on the to-do list for quite a while. I had decided to put it off earlier since there were already other club/bar type maps in my maps archive, such as:

The difference with this dive bar is that it is more claustrophobic, no frills and casual kind of joint that usually caters to the lower socio-economic class. It's a place where the locals come to drink, hangout and watch blood sports on the big screen.

The Real Business

Amid the neon haze of the bar, one will often find fixers, shadowy brokers who connect desperate mercenaries and hackers with lucrative but dangerous jobs.

These bars, with their dim lighting and untraceable payment systems, are the perfect meeting spots for whispered negotiations and discreet exchanges of black-market tech. Fixers thrive here, blending into the crowd while orchestrating high-stakes deals, trading stolen data, or hiring street samurai for missions no one else dares to touch.

Like Russian roulette, everyone knows that one of these gigs is going to spell the end of them - it’s just a matter of time. But in a world where survival hinges on risk, the allure of a big score keeps the desperate coming back for more.

Map Variants

Gambling Table

A swappable tile to turn the round table in the backroom into a high stakes card game situation.

Assault Rifle Racks

This tile adds two racks filled with heavy-hittin' assault rifles. Now why would a dive bar be this well-stocked with military-grade weapons?

Bleed Out

An individual behind the bar slumps against a bullet riddled counter, his breath comes in ragged gasps. With a final, desperate whisper, he imparts crucial information to the players, moments before succumbing to the darkness.

Pool Table Weapons

2 swappable tiles, one for each pool table.

As unwelcome intruders burst into the dive bar, patrons spring from their seats. With swift, practiced movements, they retrieve an assortment of weaponry from concealed drawers within the pool tables, ready to defend their ground.

Frag Maps

I've been using your maps for a while, my players and I love them. For this one I used it for a big ambush on the party by Maelstrom goons, had my players panicking and taking cover behind the pool tables. Hope you're going well :)

Frag Maps

Excited to see a new bar map. My players keep joking that there's only one good bar in the city. Also, love the contrast in lighting compared to the other bar. Great work, Frag!
