Hi all, I didn't think I'd ever venture into the realm of animated battle maps, but here we are with animated maps! Modern VTT's are all capable of using them these days - Fantasy Grounds Unity, Foundry, Astral (unfortunately, Roll20's support for animated maps is still very much lacking).
This month, I collaborated with WildMagicSurge - a token creator and VFX artist - to bring you this Crash Site battle map. After seeing what he was able to bring to the table to further enhance my maps, I am pumped to collaborate with him again in the future. His animated fire and sand storm special effects blend blend in so well, don't you think?

The word on the street is an aerial vehicle crash landed in a desert canyon in the outskirts of the city. There are survivors and the AV was carrying valuable cargo.
Getting your hands on the cargo or rescuing the survivors can mean making big bank. Unfortunately, you are not the only group who has the same idea.
It will be interesting to see how this epic encounter plays out.
Full Resolution Encounter Map Dimensions
Length - 41 squares (5740 px)
Height - 30 squares(4200 px)
The maps are all set at 140 DPI.
Animated maps are supplied in full and half resolution (in case the full-resolution map is too bandwidth intensive).
Day map - (Bronze supporters)
Night map - (Silver Supporters)
All animated maps + static sandstorm & fire variant maps - (Gold Supporters & above only)
