At least you landed on some nice, soft hay...one of the advantages of becoming a barn-bound creature, lots of soft places to flop over. But yes, learning to walk on hooves was proving difficult...it was like walking on your tiptoes, with a little more weight and substance there...like platform shoes without the heels.
It's important not to get discouraged. Every time you fell, you made sure to reward yourself for making the attempt, at least...running your hands down your chest, getting a handle on your newest developments. The sensation was almost overwhelming at times...those sensitive buds welling up below your first pair...learning to walk wouldn't be the only thing you'd have to adjust to. And you were far from done...so many more changes yet to come...
