Hamsters are actually indigenous to grasslands, meadows, and arid regions of Europe and Asia. Hard to imagine these little pets thriving out in the wild anywhere...in any case, they're not exactly at home in the jungle. Neither is Sylvia, who was here for her ecology studies. But the transformation virus doesn't discriminate, and can affect anyone in almost any way...most people theorize that everyone has some sort of innate species that's drawn out by it, though scientists scoff at the idea. It seems to be the only thing that makes sense though, since Sylvia's spent zero time around hamsters for her entire life, and here she is, with her cute little round ears and her blunt muzzle...taking a bit of a hiatus from her studies to deal with her newfound estrus cycle...
