"I suppose it was inevitable that someone would be curious about us...at least you asked rather than just creepily staring.
We're not nude by choice, or leaving by choice. More like a necessity at this point...kind of a 'desperate escape' situation. Feels like this is the first time we can actually breathe and feel like we're headed somewhere we can start over.
We're basically lab rats...lab pandas, I guess. GenUMorph was offering a lot of money to enroll in their trials...in hindsight, we should've been more suspicious about the lack of other participants, who must've read the fine print better than we did. Turns out we essentially signed our lives away to them, to do whatever they pleased...this is the result. Don't know how much further things might've gone if we hadn't managed to escape. I uh...I don't think I ought to say what we had to do to get out. If we're ever caught again, don't want them to have patched their little security vulnerability, so to speak.
But here we are...thank god for utterly disinterested municipal transportation workers who have already seen it all and don't care who hops on. We're headed as far out as they'll take us, and then some...not sure what we'll do, looking like this, but we'll manage. Anyway, what's your story? You headed out into the boonies too?"
