A severe dress code violation

I know this is something of a dress code violation, and degrading into a panting, slobbering mutt during office hours doesn't reflect well on the company. I'm out of sick days, but if you'd like I could take the day as unpaid time off...I don't want to jeopardize my position here though, if you'd prefer me to tough it out, I can try.
