The first shadow creatures are here.

First we have the Shadow Cat, some people think these are pacific spirits that lurk near the shadow woods, other say that they lure people inside the forest to never return, there are some wizards who managed to adopt some of these as familiars.

For the second one we have the Grabber, this creature lies in wait for prey to come close to it, then uses its tentacles to drag anything inside its mouth, its bite causes paralysis on its prey, some people believe that the Grabber doesn't actually eat its prey, but it sends them to the Realm of Shadows, for them to slowly become one more of its denizens.
