Falling over each other
Added 2024-11-26 04:26:36 +0000 UTCMaster didn't actually come into the junkyard proper that often. He usually just threw meat over the fence, which they'd divide amongst themselves. (They knew how to work the water spigot on their own, though it could take a few tries with paws.)
So it was always a momentous and curious occasion when he slid the chain off the gate and actually came in to spend a moment with them. They'd practically fall over each other, rushing out to greet him. Not that they were lonely - they had each other, which was more than enough - but a visit from Master always meant something special. Would he choose one of them to spend some quality time with? Or would there be someone else with him, perhaps a new girl to break in and introduce to life in the yard...?
