Tokens? (NPCs, beast, construct, fey,giant, monstrocity, ooze, plant)
Map tiles? (swamp. more town tiles,elemental dungeon)
Desert Isometric tiles?

I would use Isometric desert tiles. The game world is undergoing desertification so that would be great for upcoming campaign DnD Roll20.
