Exploring her cave

Every time she found herself transforming, she'd make her way into the forest, fulfill her instinctual need to hunt, and drag the carcass back to the cave to indulge herself. This time though, her activities led to an uninvited guest...as she growled at the approaching wolf man, she mentally kicked herself. Of course other wolves would smell the fresh kill and be able to track it back to her...
But then something in his demeanor changed. When the flash of red began poking from his sheath, she felt something flutter within her as well. She wondered whether she'd always been anticipating this moment without realizing it, always hoping for someone to share her kill with...she turned and dropped to all fours, panting, and he didn't need to be told twice.
