The more time she spent with him, the more he "rubbed off" on her...she found herself getting hairier, chubbier, more suited to cold climates. The day her snout finished growing, he convinced her to spend an afternoon out in the snow, to give in to their desires as natural polar bears would.
She just needs to keep an eye on that leak, make sure it doesn't turn into a painful icicle!
