🔧 New Optional Mod: Skeletor MK7 Topless Strain Relief & Tophat

Meet the newest optional add-on for Skeletor MK7: a topless strain relief paired with a carriage-mounted Tophat to keep your toolhead wiring neat and repeatable. It’s intended to delete the cable chain for smoother motion and easier maintenance (keeping the chain is possible in some setups—details in the guide).
⚠️ Important for HDM rail users
If you’re running the HDM rail mod, you must be on the Skeletor X-Carriage for HDM rails updated after September 1st.
Older HDM X-Carriage versions are not compatible with this mod.
As of this post, the updated X-Carriage has not yet hit the HDM Google Drive. The files were sent to the HDM team; I didn’t want to delay this release any further, and they should be available soon.
This mod is an add-on to Skeletor MK7 and assumes you’ve already worked through a MK7 setup/usage guide. For context and best results, please review at least one Skeletor MK7 guide first.

Please follow the link in the guide and join the discord. There you can make a post showing what skeletor you currently have and I should be able to quickly sort out what you need/dont need. If you've already purchase skeletor, and did so a while ago, then you're set. You already have everything you need to get skeletor working. Anything else that has been "updated" was either quality of life or organization, nothing critical was changed.

2025-09-12 06:14:20 +0000 UTCI bought the skeletor 7 a while ago but I've seen some things have changed I'm not quite sure now with the print and what not to print. I don't have the photographer although that might be an option. What should I be printing out of the kit for the k1 Max.
