Let the Skeletor MK7 LED Mount light the way! This mod uses the available mounting point opened up from the last update to the Strain relief.

Very simple mod if you've got some 5V LED's laying around. This uses the 5v pin on the toolhead board so there isn't much set up involved to get it up and running.

My COB LEDs run on 5V, and when fully powered, they are very bright. I have their power controlled via a variable slider in Fluidd, but even at 100%, they only appear as if they’re receiving 2V to 3V at most. However, when wired to VG instead of VS, they achieve full 5V brightness. I haven't found a workaround for this. I’m unsure if Klipper can push more voltage to the LEDs, or if doing so would even be safe for the K1C's PCB. At this point, I might just leave them always on at max brightness.

In my settings I have it set up to be variable. So just make sure the value is set to 255 or 100% power. Should fix whatever issue you’re having now. I also have never tested this with cob lights. Not sure if they would make a difference so long as they are 5v.
