Major life update. What's next?

Things have been hectic for me over the past three weeks, and I wanted to give you all an update.

You all are truly ride-or-dies for sticking with me, even during my absence these last few weeks.

I know some of you are already aware of what’s been keeping me so busy. Thank you so much for being understanding and supportive.

For a while, my significant other and I have been discussing the possibility of moving out of our hometown to find better opportunities. Recently, they received a job offer that would allow us to do just that. Over the past three weeks, we’ve been navigating the chaos that comes with moving a long distance—1,100 miles, to be exact.

This will be the first time either of us has lived outside the city we grew up in, so it’s all new to us. So far, we’ve managed to handle everything with very few hiccups. We’re just a few days away from signing a lease for our new place, which is super exciting! Hopefully, we’ll be settled in by the end of March.

What’s next?

March is going to be a busy month as we pack up and handle all the logistics of the move. While I’ll still be available to help with troubleshooting or slicer settings, my access to CAD will be very limited.

I check my notifications and community messages frequently, so if you need to reach out, you can always expect a response within 24 hours. If you prefer, you can also DM me on Discord—please don’t hesitate! My Discord username is @tbkowens. I really want to get to know you all better, and I think Discord is a great way to do that. I’m on Discord almost all day, and I’ve made some of my closest friends there.

That being said, I’m working on integrating my Patreon with my existing private Discord server. I debated for a long time whether I should create a new server specifically for Patreon, but after much consideration, I decided against it. Instead, I believe it makes more sense to integrate you all into a server that already has a strong 3D printing/maker community. I just need to work out a few details with the other server admin.

Perhaps in the future, as our community grows, I’ll create a TBK-specific server. But for now—stay tuned for the Discord invite!

Content & Future Plans

I’m planning to start posting more content! I have several projects lined up after the move, and I’m super excited to share them with you.

I’ve also been thinking about showcasing more of my life and the things I have going on—but before I do, I wanted to check with you all to see if that’s something you’d actually be interested in.

I’m capable of so much, and I want to share it all—but only if you’d enjoy it too. Would you be interested in seeing more personal projects? Or perhaps vlog-style content, like a hiking trip where I document the experience? I’d love to hear your thoughts, so please let me know!
