Rough practice

Ive been doing illustration for BakumatsuEngi(幕末演義) for some time but next month I will start doing some illustrations for SekigaharaEngi (関ヶ原演義）. The setting is a little over 250 years apart so even though the clothing didnt change much, they whore more traditional Japanese armor while in battle in the 1600s.

I only planned on keeping it rough. Next month Ill have to draw characters like this for work so I just spent some free timing warming up. Would like to do more of these before the month ends. Maybe if I do one I really love, Ill paint it. Thanks!
