Hey everyone, thank you so much for your patience so far. First and foremost, I need to apologize for the lengthy delays and the radio silence. Needless to say, there are many reasons for it, not all of which were out of my control, and so I don't want to make any excuses. As I realized how much longer it was going to take to get the next video out than I'd expected, I honestly just froze up. And for that, I'm truly sorry.
There's good news, though: That video is just about ready to go. It chronicles the events that kicked all this off: The disaster that was my new workstation. With that hurdle overcome, I'm becoming more confident that things will flow a bit more smoothly going forward.
A big part of that confidence comes from the lessons I've learned about why this took so long. When I said I wanted to reach for what I thought was an attainable quality level of 2017-2019 LTT, I didn't fully realize how much time that level of polish would take to pull off for a single person in a basement apartment. That goes doubly for learning camera work, lighting, and audio at the same time, especially when I have a specific vision in mind. The longer that took, the more polish I felt it needed.
All of which is to say, while this video was a valuable learning experience for me in more ways than one, in the interests of actually getting future projects over the line, I'm going to ease up on the production quality for the next little bit and let the content do more of the talking. I actually have a script written about that, too, which might be next in line.
Once again, thank you all for sticking with me. Your support means the world to me, and I can't wait to get this video out to you and get going on the next one.
