New video soon, status update

Hey everyone, thank you so much for your patience so far. First and foremost, I need to apologize for the lengthy delays and the radio silence. Needless to say, there are many reasons for it, not all of which were out of my control, and so I don't want to make any excuses. As I realized how much longer it was going to take to get the next video out than I'd expected, I honestly just froze up. And for that, I'm truly sorry.

There's good news, though: That video is just about ready to go....

So... This is what's been going on the past little bit. If you're in the Discord, you know that it's pretty much been resolved now, but I've had to adjust plans for the new workstation build video, and also a video about the things that led me to this tragedy.

Status report

Hey everyone! Thank you all again for your support so far! I'd like to take some time to give you all an update on what's been going on over the past month.

First, the PC build stream. I realize now that there was a lot more that could go wrong in setting up for it than I initially expected; I had tested the individual components of the stream, but did not do a test stream prior to starting, so that ended up taking longer than expected. Hey everyone! I'll be streaming my new workstation build on Discord tomorrow afternoon. Drop by and say hi while I figure out how to build a PC and entertain chat at the same time! There's no way for me to express just how amazing the response has been to the channel launch, and there's no way for me to get to all of your comments and notes. These past couple days have been almost entirely spent making sure everything is working okay in the Discord, and following up on all the outreach I've received.

Branding is hard

In the run-up to launching the channel, I realized that I needed to do something other than just have a selfie for a profile picture. I decided pretty early on that the closing line of my intro video is actually a great tagline, so I decided that would be right there. Might be a bit garish, I don't know, but I like the sentiment, and I got to do a nice terminal nod.
