Pride spotlight - Zoar

Another krogan OC! Im having fun drawing them all again. Ive been thinking over who else I wanna showcase in these little spotlights. Like, it won't be Mass Effect only but Im kinda in the zone here haha!

So this is Zoar! Like Kron, he was made to be part of Aralakh Company, and had the role of the old man veteran everyone comes to for advice. When I brought him on CDN he took a wildly different turn that Im pretty happy with! I made him Lydia's father who was absent for most of her life, but then ends up helping her and they form a weird and sweet bond. After the Reaper War he went to the Nemean Abyss and became a Kowla fighter on Cartagena. He spent several years there going through the motions and secretly hoping one of his matches would get him killed. He was then later contacted by Lydia's mother seeking his assistance to help guide Lydia through a low point in her life. He was never sure why he agreed, but off he went, and meeting her changed his life.

Because he's a Jorgal, he ends up building a rapport with Dwick too, though Zoar has NO patience when it comes to Dwick's shenanigans, and rather enjoys showing him up whenever possible. Zoar tries to hide behind this tough old man act, but when he gets to know someone enough, he actually cares a lot about their well being and future. He has this weird nihilism but about himself where he believes nothing he did in life meant anything, except the one child he managed to sire.

After learning the meaning of friendship, Zoar's settled into his own weirdness. He enjoys turian soap operas, he thinks loud floral shirts are headache inducing and absolutely loves to wear them. He has a friend named Bellator Turp and their relationship has no label. Neither of them bother to give it a name, but they live together arguing about tv shows. Zoar is also a chronic liar so the war stories he has could be true or not. The story about the scar on his face changes each time someone asks how he got it.
