When it comes to real orcas, especially the Southern Resident orcas, it's a heart breaking fact to know that most babies don't make it within the first weeks of their life because the moms have a hard time eating enough to produce milk.
The zorca have gone through tough lean seasons, and in Sardon's case he was the only child born to have survived during such a time thanks to the efforts of his family.
