Commission: Pop Sensation - Chapter One

Those of you probably know why, it hasn't been a particularly kind couple of months, without much sign of things getting better in the short term. This piece was pretty long, and required a good amount of back and forth with the client to get every little bit just right, so mix those two things, and the time frame wasn't too bad. Worse than I would have liked it, but not too bad.
I'm hoping things improve, I get a small reprieve to work on the Menagerie next, and will be opening three new commission slots that'll hopefully help the money situation. I'm also thinking of changing the Patreon to Public release window from twenty days to one week, just so that I can keep that active and hopefully increase some short term traffic. I'm not 100% sold on the idea yet though.

A Madam Materia commission. Welcome to Japan, a land of delicious food, pop idols, and trying to figure out how you're going to make rent as a foreigner trying to eke out a living in the land of the rising sun. Meet our hero Sam, who finds himself in the position of acting as a historical consultant for an oddly themed idol group, the Liberty Girls. A job that may have just a bit more going on beneath the surface of those flashy costumes than he was bargaining for.
