Update on what's to come next!
Added 2020-05-09 20:47:50 +0000 UTCHey everyone! I wanted to give you an update on what I've been working on here in Erin Plays Land! I hope you guys have been doing well and staying safe with everyone going on!
The next video will be a look through a 1994 JCPenney toy catalog. I really enjoyed doing the last one, where I looked at a Montgomery Wards catalog from 1984 so I hope you all enjoy this one too. 1994 was when I just turned 6 years old so I have a lot of memories in this one! This will probably come out tomorrow. I had it already to go but I need to change the music because apparently someone copyrighted Wii channel music so that's a bummer. So now I'm putting in some SNES back ground music and putting on the final touches.
And then after that, I'll be doing something a bit different! I am currently capturing footage for my favorite Data East games, both arcade and on NES. I'm going to be focusing on a different developer every now and again, doing a series of sorts, and I'm really having fun with it ! I'm still in the taking notes and getting footage stage, but this SHOULD be my next video. Unless the scripting and editing takes longer than I'm thinking it will :)
And lastly, as for streaming, I am so happy that I 100 percented the main Yoshi's Island game! I still need to tackle the levels I unlocked, but I just really need to take a break from Yoshi for a bit. So I'll get back to those levels eventually but for now, I just need to sprinkle in some different games so I don't go totally insane, lol.

That's awesome that you also appreciate collecting old catalogs! They're like mini time capsules. I love it. And yeah, I'm still debating whether or not to include Donald Land on the list. We'll see. I'll probably stream some of the games to capture footage. Super Mario 64 is so fun. I want to play that again soon. And thanks!

2020-05-09 23:37:10 +0000 UTCLove me some toy catalog videos! I have their 1993 Christmas catalog and a dozen of Sears ones. The 1994 one should be cool just to see all the Power Rangers toys that were out then and a were a pain in the ass for parents trying to get. I was six years old that year too. Yeah, YouTube's going after everybody with music now, even the streamers like Jay from the Game Chasers. His streams keep getting suspended because of the music that he plays on his streams. Lots of good titles from Data East like Rampage, Burgertime, Joe and Mac, Captain America and the Avengers (arcade) and of course Donald Land, so that should be a good video! Yeah, those extra bonus levels in Yoshi's Island look like murder, so I'd just come back to those in the future, and you deserve a break from it too since you 100%ed the game. I'm getting back into the N64 so I'm playing Super Mario 64 from the beginning and might look for some other ones to play too like Wave Race 64 and F-Zero X. I tried to 100% Yoshi's Story a while back but it never lets me for whatever reason. I'm just happy you 100%ed Yoshi's Island, Erin! Catch ya later!
